Description		    Collected responsa of R. Abraham ben Nahman ha-Kohen on all four parts of the Shulhan Arukh with an addenda entitled She’erit ha-Peletah. The title page has a lengthy text in which R. Abraham’s humility is evident. He thanks the members of the community and yeshivah Bet Avraham le-Hayyim, which he had founded, for their assistance in financing publication of Me’at Mayyim. He has entitled the first part of the book Me’at Mayyim and the second She’erit ha-Peletah. R. Abraham ha-Kohen writes that he raises his hands to God in heaven to bless them with the three-fold blessing of the Kohanim. Me’at Mayyim is dated with the verse “Let a little water, I beseech you, be fetched, and wash [your feet] (Genesis 18:4), appropriate for an Avraham. There is an introduction from R. Abraham on the verso of the title page followed by the responsa in two columns in rabbinic type. At the end of Me’at Mayyim is an index of the responsa, most of which are on Orah Hayyim. The second part of the volume, She’erit ha-Peletah, twenty-nine additional responsa, does not have a separate title page but does have its own foliation. It too concludes with an index.
