Description		    Bi-lingual edition Judeo-Arabic and Hebrew edition of Psalms with the commentary Po’el Zedek by R. Pragi Alush and arranged by R. Jacob Bashiri. The title page has the classical frame utilized by David Adyan at this time and states that it is the Psalms of David with the customary Judeo-Arabic translation as spoken in Tunis and the commentaries Kizzur Minhat Shai necessary for grammatical reading and the discursive commentary Po’el Zedek and Tehilot le-David, an explanation of the virtues of Psalms. There are approbations from R. Ziyyon ben Sossan Kohen, R. Calfon Moses Kohen, R. Mordecai Cemos Amiis ha-Kohen, and R. Joseph Bucratz, all of Djerba. There are introduction to books of Psalms from R.. Hayyim Hori and R. Massud Ma’arkh, followed by the kuntress Tehillah le-David explaining many virtues of Psalms, set in two columns of facing Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic. Psalms too are comprised of facing Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic columns and immediately below Kizzur Minhat Shai and below that Po’el Zedek. A running homiletic commentary. At the end of the volume are prayers, likkutim, and segulot.

בשער: "נסדר ונדפס על ידי... מעתוק די יעקב בשירי". בהסכמה נאמר שתלמיד המחבר, ר' חיים חורי, השלים וערך את הפירוש. בראש הספר: הקדמת ר' חיים חורי הכותב שהתרגום לערבית יהודית הוכן על ידי ר' צמח הלוי (ספר א), ר' חיים חורי (ספר ב) ור' מסעוד מעארך (ספר ג ואילך). טו, [1] דף: "קונטרס תהלה לדוד... ביאור כמה... מעלות... לעוסקים בספר תהלים... אשר אסף... הרב... אברהם חי מוסאפיה... ולאהבת הקיצור שניתי הסדר והלשון והכללתי ב וג' דברות באות אחד, וציינתי מקומם, ועוד אספתי איזה עניינים... בלשון הקדש ובלשון ערבי... חיים חורי"; "התקוה"; פזמון, פותח: קומו אחי בית ישראל נראה בבנין האריאל. כד דף: "ליקוטי חי' תורה" (ביאורים לפסוקי התורה); "יקרא דשכבי", הספד על ר' פ'ראג'י עלוש, ביום יט כסליו התרפ"א, מאת ר' חיים חורי; תפילות וסגולות, ועוד. הפנים (התהלים) עם התרגום לערבית יהודית וקיצור מנחת שי נדפסו באותו סדר-האותיות כמו בספר "נורא תהלות", ג'רבה תרפ"ה-תרפ"ו.
