Description		    This lithograph is numbered 77 of 150 and is pencil signed by Joseph Kossonogi (1908-1981), who was a member of the Safed artists colony. Born in Hungary and resident in Israel for nearly forty years, Joseph Kossogi has reached down to the grass roots of life in this country. His paintings reflect a very personal style based on lightness of touch and a dream like element in his composition; at the same time he has retained the figurative expressionist approach, Kossonogi's favorite subjects are landscapes, interiors, women and group compositions.
