Description
   Three unrelated works bound together, both published in Mukachevo. The first title is Heker Halakhah, responsa by R. Eliezer ben Eliezer Kolir. The prose of the title page is almost poetical in its emphsis emphasizes that the responsa are according to Shass and poskim; R. Kolir has gone down into the depths of halakhah, aroused the hearts of the sages, to arrive at the truth. On the verso of the title page is a R. Moses Sofer (Hatam Sofer), follwed by and index of the hakira comprising Heker Halakhah, describing twenty subjects, primarily based on Talmudic issues and novellae. R. Eliezer ben Eliezer Kolir (1728-1801), a resident of Moravia, was a well-known pilpulist and the author of a number of rabbinical works. Among his students was R. Aaron ben Meir of Brest (Minḥat Aharon, Novydvor, 1792). Among R. Kolir’s other works are Or Hadash and Havvat Ya’ir Hadash. ,p> The second title is Nefesh Adam, a halakhic work based on Psalms by R. David Feighols. Below it states that he is R. Abraham Moses David Segal Krausz, known by his third name, that of his righteous mother Feiga. The final title is Aseret Devarim, which is Minhatr a rembrance for R. Judah and called kuntress. It is an explanation of the first chapter in Bava Batra, R. Judah would say ten difficult things were created in the world, a Hard mountain, etc. expounded by R. Shimshon Mishpatvika. The verso of the title page has an approbation from R. Shalom Mordecai ha-Kohen
