This watch is marked "Yisrael - Hey Iyar Tav Shin Chet" on top and
"14 Mai 1948", Israel" on the bottom. The word "Specific" may refer to the name of the maker. The face is completely surrounded by Jewish symbols, mostly Biblical. This must be one of the earliest watches produced by the newly founded State of Israel. |
