Detailed Description |
|
457 opinions by foreign experts of the preferability of shehitah for killing animals. This pamphlet and several others were issued in response to an effort by anti-Semites to ban the Jewish method as inhumane. The present lot is a reprint of a 1914 edition; the excerpts are from the "Neue Gutachten ueber das Juedisch-rituelle Schlachtverfahren" by Dr. Hirsch Hildesheimer (Berlin 1908). |
