Description		    Introductory work on the principles of Judaism in Italian published by the Jewish community of Lombardo-Veneto. The full title of the book is Bene-Zion: libro d'istruzione religioso-morale per la gioventu israelitica del Regno Lombardo-Veneto. The title page is followed by a preface with, at the end, the names of the heads of the community, Isach Grego del fu Giuseppe, Giacomo Levi, and Mose Conigliano and the rabbi of Venice, Elia Aron Lattes. The text is comprised of 417 chapters in Italian with occasional Hebrew offering a detailed view of Judaism and the mitzvot.
