Description
   To mark the 500th years since the expulsion of Jews from Spain, Yeshiva University Museum organized this exhibition. It chronicles the history of Sephardic communities established after the expulsion and is divided into the areas of Turkey and the Balkans, the Middle East, North Africa, Western Europe and the New World. It examines the cultural, intellectual and artistic achievements of the Sephardic diaspora. It includes 243 black and white photos, 19 color plates, a map and essays by Israeli and American scholars
