Description		    Only edition of halakhic and ethical sayings by R. Isaac Shimshon Malakh. The title page describes it as consisting of two hundred eight chapters with the gematria of Yitzhak, the name of the young author. The text deals with practical halakhic issues, goodly customs, and praiseworthy Middot, all with good reasons clearly written. Also included, in a concise manner and clear language the fifty-four parshiot of the Torah. Tikkun Yitzhak is dated with the verse “worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness” (I Chronicles 16:29). There is an introduction from the young author followed by the text in a single column in square letters. At t he end of the book is n index of the contents which deal with such varied subjects as the principles of faith, benedictions and prayers, Shabbat, instructing children, honoring parents, work and business, conduct at meals, milah, pidyon ha-ben, care in performing mitzvoth, havdalah, reasons for festivals, entries for each festival and their reasons, mezuzah, honor of the Torah and of Torah sages, marriage ceremonies and marital relations, charity, anger, praying for the well being of the government, and much more.
