Detailed
Description		    Letter by R. Jacob Samson b. Hayyim Hager (1814-1880), Admor of Kosov. The eldest son he became Admor upon his father's passing in 1854. He married the daughter of R. David Sternhel of Kollemyia and R. Jacob Joseph of Ostro in the second. An ascetic he refused to talk for the greater part of his later life and responded with hand or eye motions. The Admor of Zanz in a responsa refers to him as the "Holy-one of Kosov", and was greatly revered by the rabbis of his generation. He was laid to rest in the ohel with his father and grandfather.
