Description		    Bet din agreement in the case of an estate signed by R. Isaiah b. Moses Schorr (1777-1879), rabbi of Jassy and other prominent communities. R. Schorr served in the rabbinate for over 70 years, his responsa and novellae fill several volumes. He was born in Mikulintsy, Galicia into a distinguished rabbinical family. He was a pupil of R. Aaron of Karlin; R. Israel of Kozienice, R. Menahem Mendel of Kosov and R. Zevi Hirsch of Zidachov. He served in Horodanka followed by other communities finally accepting the Jassy rabbinate in 1850 where he remained until his passing. An erudite scholar, he wrote several volumes, and was consulted the world over for his rabbinical opinions.
