Professor Levi also was the editor, together with Esdra Pontremoli, of L'educatore Israelita. That journal, originally intended for children but later enlarged its scope, became a force in Piedmontese Jewry, land was largely responsible for the reorganisation of the communities. After Prof. Levi’s death the new editor, Flaminio Servi, changed the title in Il Vesillo Israelitico, which continued to appear until 1922. |
