Description		    Letter by R. Dov Baer Friedman (1882-1936) of Chortkov. He was born in Chortkov, the youngest son of R. Israel of Admor of Chortkov. R. Dov Baer married Miriam, his cousin, the daughter of R. Isaac of Boyan in 1899. When his father passed on in Vienna in 1934, he declined to become Admor. He was very active in the Agudah, indeed this letter deals with Agudah issues, and was highly respected for his wisdom and penetrating intelligence.
