Description		    Bylaws of the Hevra Kadisha d'Gomlei Hasudim of Frankfurt a. Main. The bylaws in German with many Hebrew quotations consists of 35 codicils. The Society was founded in 1617 and engraved the names of deceased members with dates of demise on large silver cups. The latter part of the book gives the names engraved on all six cups of the Society since inception. The names were engraved in Hebrew and are likewise recorded in this volume.
