Letter by R. Rahmim Jacob b. Reuven (18-19 cent.) Shedar of Safed to Pesaro. R. Rahmim Jacob was the son of the Chief Rabbi of Sofia, who settled in Safed. His father in law was R. Issachar Abulafia. R. Rahmim Jacob was an eminent torah scholar in Safed and participated with other dignitaries in raising funds to sustain the community. His name appears on many period community documents.
