Description		    This is vol.1, issue 3 of a journal called Yehudith containing articles in both English and Hebrew. This particular issue is called "The Damascus Affair" and is devoted to a diary of Dr. Louis Loewe for the period July-November, 1840. It contains a foreword by R. Shemtob Gaguin, who is the editor of this journal. A preface by Herbert Loewe follows, as does an introduction by Paul Goodman.
