Description		    Only edition of these novellae on the laws of benedictions by R. Yosef Yedid ha-Levi (1866-1930). R. Yedid was the av bet din of the Bucharin community in Jerusalemand the author of such other works as the responsa Yemai Yosef, Torat Hakham on Talmud Torah, Amirah ne‘imah : ... be'ure halakhot ve-hidushim, Kuntres ha-shemitah, and Petah ha-sha‘ar Pesak be-‘inyan hasarat rav rashi mi-misrato. On the title page are twelve lines of biblical verses, the initial letters spelling out the author’s name. There is an introduction from R. Yedid and the text, in a single column in rabbinic letters. Birkat Yosef is a comprehensive work on all forms of benedictions, beginning with arusin (betrothal), and includes the frequency in which ha-tov ve-mativ an be made ver wine, blessings over a cup at havdalah, and birkhat ha-mazon. The final page is a responsum on the subject of becor, printed here so that the page will not be blank.
