R. Eliezer Rahamim ben Yom-Tob Halevi Yedid (1885-1934) was an eminent kabbalist as well as a renowned scholar. He was a teacher in the yeshivah Porat Yosef and taught Kabbalah in the yeshivot Rehot ha-Nahar and Bet El. In addition to Aryeh Sha’ag he wrote Minhat Eliezer (Jerusalem, 1910), a guide for spiritual development in the areas of human reproduction, Torah, and charity; Shivhei Maharam, a biography of R. Mordecai Hayyim Labaton and details concerning his father. He published the above mentioned Simhat Yom Tov, authored by his father and prepared the siddur of R. Shalom Sharabi for publication.
