Description
Attractive Familien Stammbuch (family record book) with red boards and brief entries for the family Nussbaum. This is an attractive and complete genealogical book that was meant to be completed showing family history and relationships. This copy is almost entirely blank and pristine excepting three pages recording Nussbaum family history. The first page with an entry is for eheschließung (wedding data), here recording the spouse Gustav Nussbaum, the zeit der heirat (wedding), 20 June 1898, his religion (Jewish), birth date, 9 May 1867, residence Fulda, and additional family names and relations. The second page is the vor und zunamen der ehefrau (first and last name of the wife), also Jewish, born in 1872. and additional familyl information. The third page is for kinder (children) with three entries. Apart from the sparse Nussbaum information the book is for interest for its composition, with pages for various family entries, blank pages (for photographs or other documents) including an introduction, and back matter on detailed beurkundung (certification) and at the end several pages of possible male and female first names and concluding with a table of contents.
