Description		    Only edition of these novellae, primarily on tractate Hullin by R. Moses ben Isaac ha-Levi Pollak. The title page informs that in addition to the novellae on Hullin also included are Shiurei Berakhah on sugyot in shass pertaining to this tractate and Birkat Yitzhak , novellae and halakhot and Tosafot by R. Isaac Zekel ha-Levi Pollak, the son of R. Abraham, the grandfather of R. Moses. There are approbations from R. Abraham Pollak, R. Israel Pollak, R. David Leib Pollak, R. Joseph Naftali ben Asher Anshel Stern, and on 191b, annotations to the first page by R. Jospeh Zevi Dushintsky. Several introductions are followed by the text. At the end of the volume is a list of the contributors who financed publication.

R. Moses ben Isaac ha-Levi Pollak (1845–1888) was a Hungarian rabbi. Born in Szerdahely, R. Pollak studied under R. Judah Aszod and R. Abraham Samuel Sofer. In 1872 he was appointed rabbi of Bonyhad, where he established a yeshivah which attracted pupils from all parts of Hungary. He was one of the founders of the Orthodox community of Bonyhad, which he developed to a considerable extent. R. Pollak was the author of Va-Yedabber Moshe (1894–95; photoprint New York, 1943), in five parts, on the Pentateuch and various talmudic themes; Tikkun Moshe (1894–99), in five parts, sermons and discussions on talmudic topics; and this work Birkat Moshe.
