The tomb of the "Rabh" (R. Ephraim Ankawa) in the Jewish cemetery on the outskirts of Tlemcen is an important place of pilgrimage for Jews and non-Jews. Sometimes more than 10,000 people from many parts of the world convened there on Lag ba-Omer.
