With the signature of R' David Pardo on title. R' David Pardo (1718 -1790), among the leading rabbinic figures of his generation, was rabbi in several distinguished Balkan communities, and emigrated to Jerusalem in his later years. He authored several important works: Shoshanim L' David, Chasei David, Maskil L'David, Michtam L'David, among others. His son, R. Abraham, was married to the daughter of R. Hayyim Josef David Azulai (Hid"a), and succeededed his father as Rosh Yeshiva after his demise. |
