Description
A stern protest to R. Benzion Meir Hai Uziel, Chief Rabbi of Israel, for allowing non-kosher meat to be imported to Israel. The letter request the Rishon Le'tzion to take all necessary measures to prevent this scandal from recurring. It continues "We gave our lives for generations to prevent this abomination - and now in our holy land we serve non-kosher. The letter is signed by several major rabbinical leaders and Mekubalim: R. Shmuel Ezran, R. Benjamin Levi, The Mekubal R. Jacob Joseph Menussa, The Mekubal R. Saki, R. Ezra Attia Rosh Yeshiva of Porat Joseph, and R. Abraham Entebbi.
