Description		    First edition. [2], 98, 168 f., quarto, 228:183 mm., usual light browning, edges frayed affecting few running titles, minor worming several f., paper repairs to titles and final not affecting text. A good copy of a rare work bound in modern cloth boards.
          
Detailed
Description		    Kabbalistic commentary to the Pentateuch. Date and place of press follows Lieberman, Ohel Rachal, p. 372-3. The confusion stems from the second edition (Lemberg 1855) which states that it followed the first edition printed in Mohilev! The first edition gives no press details.

R. David Solomon Eibeschuetz (c. 1755-1813) was born in Jezierzany and served in the rabbinical positions of Nadvornaya, Chorostkow, Budzanow, and Soroki in Moldavia. He made aliyah to Zfat in 1809 where he died and is interred.
