Description		    [1], 4, 186 ff., folio, 310:200 mm., light age staining, old Moroccan hand on title and fly. A very good copy bound in contemporary half-leather boards, rubbed and split.
          
Paragraph 1    Resonsa on all four parts of the Shulhan Arukh by R. Hayyim David Solomon Zurafah (d. 1859). Among R. Zurafah’s other works is Bnei Shelomo (Livorno, 1822), homiles and response.

Description		    There are approbations from leading rabbinic figures from Algiers and other Mahgreb cities, and an introduction from R. Judah and Moses Zurafah, the author’s sons. The volume concludes with an index of the response (185a-186b). The title page is Zurafah dated וברכתי אליכם תבא (638=1878). The numerous response are detailed, varied, and reflect R. Zurafah’s great scholarship.
