Description |

On the right side is a dedication to Dov Eliyahu Yehuda Reich, member of the Polish parliament, among the Zionist leaders in Galicia, and president of the “Hebrew Club” in the Polish parliament. Presented as a token of thanks for his 30 years of selfless dedication to our land and our people. With signatures and stamps of organizations and honorable people of Drohowitz. On the left half is an illustration of lions in genuine Bezalel style, with the banner “Gur Aryeh Yehuda”. In the illustration is a lion’s cage encased in darkness, with two lions behind bars, with an additional lion on the outside with a broken chain. The top of the lion’s cage has an emblem of a Menorah. Apparently the illustration is meant to symbolize his work toward the freeing of Jews. Illustration is signed: Rabin D. Avigdor.

ציור ותעודה שנתנו כמנחת זכרון לדב אליהו יהודה רייך מאת אנשי דרוהוביץ.
בצד ימין יש הקדשה לדב אליהו יהודה רייך חבר הסיים הפולני, מראשי הציונים בגליציה, ונשיא ה"חוג העברי" בסיים, על עבודתו הפוריה במשך שלושים שנה בעד עמנו וארצנו. עם חתימות וחותמות של אישים וארגונים בדרוהוביץ. בחצי השמאלי יש ציור מרהיב של אריות בסגנון בצלאל מובהק, עם הכותרת "גור אריה יהודה". בציור כלוב הנמצא בחושך ובו שתי אריות מאחורי סורג ובריח, בעוד אריה נוסף בחוץ עם שרשרת שבורה, ומעל הכלוב סמל המנורה. כנראה הציור רמז לעבודתו למען שחרור היהודים. הציור חתום |
