Description		    Only edition. [4], 90 f., quarto, 245:175 mm., usual light staining. A very good copy bound in contemporary calf boards, tooled in blind and gilt, spine in compartments with red title label, front panel embossed with "the young doctor Hardid"?

Description		    A newly translated edition of the Menorat Ha'Ma'or by the printer Pontremoli. Only part one was printed. F. 4v contains lenghty list of subscribers, a feature not known in other Ladino works.
          
Paragraph 2    ספר מנורת המאור בלאדינו. במרכז השער נדפס מזמור תהלים סז בצורת מנורה. התרגום שונה מזה של אסא, וככל הנראה נעשה מחדש על ידי המדפיס אברהם פונטרימולי, מתוך הוצאת אמשטרדם תפ"ב (עם פירוש נפש יהודה). בגוף הספר הערות מבארות שנוספו ככל הנראה על ידי המדפיס פונטרימולי (בין היתר: דף ג,ב; נ,ב; ע,ב ועוד). בראש הספר נדפסה "הקדמה למנורה", היא ההקדמה של הוצאת אמשטרדם תפ"ב, בתרגום לאדינו. בסוף ההקדמה רשימת "המתנדבים" להדפסת הספר. מהדורה זאת כוללת עד סוף נר ג, כלל ג, ח"ב, פרק ד. חלקים נוספים כנראה לא נדפסו.
