Letter to R. Joseph Zachariah Stern.
R. Wolk (1856-1906) was born in Vilkmerge, studied at the Bet Halevi. He served in several communities before accepting the prestigious rabbinical position of Pinsk. His work Keter Kehuna on the Sifre attests to his great rabbinical scholarship and knowledge in Talmud and Kabbalah. |
