Description		    Verse from David Moses ben Kalmun Mitzkun. Kinnor David has three title pages, an introduction from Mitzkun (iii-ix), table of contents (x), and then the text. At the end of the volume are notes on the books chapters (193-201), and errata (202). The verso of the first title page has an inscription from the author. The text is comprised of twenty three poems with titles such as, Divrei David, Kinnor David, Ma’arot Elokim, Tehilla le-David, Tephillah le-Moshe, Shir Zahav, ha-Temurah, Shir ha-Yihud, Mizmor le-Assaf, Cain, Shalom me-Pahad.

David Moses Mitzkun (1836-87) was a Russian Hebraist. A writer of Hebrew prose and poetry, Mitzkun maintained himself chiefly by teaching Hebrew. Kinnor David is Mitzkun’s only published work.
