Description		    Attractive prayer book for Yom Kippur with prayers to be recited at Minhah Erev Yom ha-Kippur, meditative prayers to be said for someone who remains in the synagogue at night, and Ma’ariv at the conclusion of Yom Kippur. That title page states that it is, “an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the Lord” (Leviticus 1:13, . . .) divided into three parts. It was edited by Moses Hai Milul and is dated, on the title page, “and to him shall the obedience ולו יקהת (557=1797) of the people be” (Genesis 49:10).

The second part has a separate title page and is Ma’ariv for the night of Yom Kippur. There is an introduction in Ladino from the printer, followed by a bakashah and then the services. It is dated “thanksgiving, and the voice תודה וקול (557=1797) thanksgiving, and the voice of melody of melody” (Isaiah 51:3) thanksgiving, and the voice of melody. The title page includes the phrase “Con Approvazione,” that is, it has been approved for publication by the censor. The final part, entitled Keter Malkhut, are meditative prayers. All parts, except for introductory material, are printed in large square Hebrew letters.
