Description
Regulations of the Nederlandsche Israelitsche Hoofd-Sijnagoge in The Hague. The first synagogue was consecrated in 1698, and in 1703 the wealthy De Pinto family established its own synagogue. In 1709, an official congregation named Honen Dal was founded, and later Jacob Pereira established a separate congregation called Beth Jacob. The magnificent synagogue of the Sephardim, built on the model of the Great Synagogue in Amsterdam, was consecrated in 1726.
