Description		    Historical biblical calendar from the time of Joshua to the destruction of the second Temple. The title page states that it is an-account of the years of the judges and kings of Israel and Judah, from the days of Joshua until the destruction of the first Temple by the Gaon Rabbenu Elijah of Vilna, as was printed in Vilna-Grodno in 1820. As it is no longer to be found it is being reprinted for the benefit of the public. Added to the previous edition are a listing of the prophets, Hasmonean kings, and Herod, and also the kings of Greece and Rome until the destruction of the second Temple. This is being done by R. Zev Grossman, one of the students of the yeshivah Me'ah Shearim. The title page is dated, "and a word spoken in due season, how good it is! דבר בעתו מה טוב (665=1905)" (proverbs 15:23).

On the verso of the title pages are approbations from R. Abraham Isaac Kook and R. Joseph Hayyim Sonnenfeld in both Hebrew and German. The calendar is in two columns, providing a listings of names of judges and kings, the length of their rule, biblical references. There are also glosses, several detailed.

לוח זה צורף גם ל"אדרת אליהו", ירושלם [תרס"ה]. עיין: דינסטאג, רבנו אליהו מווילנא, עמ' 40, מס' 226. יש טפסים בהם נדפסו ההסכמות בעברית בלבד.

הסכמות: ר' אברהם יצחק הכהן קוק, יפו, ד ניסן תרס"ה, ור' יוסף חיים זאנענפעלד, ירושלים, ו ניסן [תרס"ה]. ההסכמות ניתרגמו גם לגרמנית.
