Description		    Novellae to Tractate Yevamoth.

The author (1850-1930), was appointed Chief Rabbi of St. Petersburg in 1908, a position he held until his death. Due to the respect he received from the authorities, Katzenellenbogen was allowed to print this text, one of the very last traditional works of Hebrew scholarship published under the new Communist regime.
