Description		    Two volumes, folio. V. 1: 313, (1) ff. usual age staining, title laid down with small portion at top left corner supplied in facsimile, marginal repairs to ff. 20-2, last leaf repaired, few leaves supplied from another copy, previous owners inscription on recto of final leaf. V. 2: 190 ff. light age staining, trace foxed, last leaf laid down, inscription on title. A very good copy bound in uniform modern vellum-backed boards, gently rubbed at corners.

Description		    Midrashic anthology to the Bible. The Yalkut is the best known and most comprehensive Midrashic anthology, covering the whole Bible. Much has been written as to the identity of the Author or age of the work. It ranges from 980 to 1500 with the 13th century as the last date. Nothing is known of the Author, R. Simeon the Preacher of Frankfurt, attributions to other well known authors have all been disproven.

נדפס דף על דף על-פי וויניצאה שכ"ו, עם דברי-הסיום של ר' מאיר פרינץ בחלק א (בשלימותם), ובחלק ב (בהשמטת סופם), ובתוספת דברי- סיום (בסוף חלק ב), מאת המדפיס "ויעתר יצחק לה', שבהם מזכיר את פטירת בנו אליהו ב"יום א [צ"ל: יום ב] כו תמוז שנ"ה".
