Description		    Only edition. [1], 79 ff., folio, 289:195 mm., light age and damp staining, marginal notes on several ff. in old Sephardic hand. A very good copy bound in later half cloth and marble paper boards, rubbed.

Description		    Responsa and novellae by a prominent Jerusalem Talmudic scholar. The Author, a descendent of R. Jacob Arye, was an emissary on behalf of Erez Israel numerous times between 1765-1803. His responsa were written in the Levant, Europe, North Africa, from detention in Trieste (1800), Baghdad (1778), Casale Monferrato (1802), and wherever he traveled to on behalf of his Sephardic brethren in Jerusalem of Tiberias.
