Description		    Addressed to the Rabbi of Prague, Heinreich Levy, seeking funds for the publication of a sefer. R. Reich was the rabbi in Trnava (Hung. Nagyszombat; Ger. Tyrnau), a small town in Slovakia that was noted for its famous Yeshiva. Early in December 1938, under the "autonomous" regime in Slovakia, the synagogue was set ablaze by a mob. Among the 2,500 Jews that were deported to Auschwitz in the last stages of the war was R. Reich, who perished in the Holocaust.
