Chabad commentary on the Holidays.
R. Hillel Malisov (1795-1864), also refered to as R. Hillel Paritch, was a disciple of R. Dover and R. Menahem Mendel Schneerson. He served in the rabbinical positions of Paritch and Babarusk and was frequently consulted on questions concerning the complicated areas of Jewish law. He wrote a number of important Chabad works: Pelah ha-Rimon (Vilna 1887) on Pentateuch; a commentary to Likutei Biurim (Warsaw 1868); Ma'amer Histadhus (New York 1951).
