The title page of Tokhahah Megulah by R. Moses R”m (=Rosh Mesivta) in Kovno, who is in fact R. Zevi Hirsch Rabbinowitz, specifically states that it is written in opposition to the earlier work. There is a preface by the author on the verso of the title page, followed by a second title page, errata, and the text. Tokhahah Megulah is a detailed scholarly argument against the position of those rabbinic figures who permit the usage of etrogim from Corfu. Tokhahah Megulah is extremely rare.
