Detailed Description |
|
The taryag (613) mitzvot according to Maimonides (Rambam) divided so as to be read within thirty days by R. Hillel ben Dov Baer Orlinsky of יאלווקע. There is also a half title page which states the name of the work, Minyan ha-Mitzvot and adds that there is a commentary entitled Bet Habad (Hillel ben Dov). The author’s introduction concludes with need, based on tractates Peshaim and Berakhot, to review one’s learning every thirty days. This is followed by the text, which is comprised of a listing of an enumeration and statement of the mitzvoth according to the Ramban in square letters at the top of the page, and the commentary below in rabbinic type. There is both foliation (35 ff) and pagination (70 pp.).
