Description		    Letter by the Rebbe of Dej, R. Jacob Elimeleh b. Ezekiel Panet (1888-1944), to R. Moses Avigder Emiel, sending him a copy of his work, Keneset Yechezkiel, and seeking R. Emiel's works in return. The Rebbe was a ordained by R. Samuel Engel of Radimisel, at age 18. In 1926 he was appointed as Rosh Yeshiva in Dej and elected to the Rabbinical position in 1930. His appointment as President of the Kollel Zibenbergen prompted a visit to Erez Israel. He perished with his wife and children in the Holocaust.

Members of the Panet family served as rabbis of Dej and the Hassidic dynasty from the beginning of the community's establishment to its end in the Holocaust.
