Attractive set of mahzorim for Yom Kippur. The mahzorim, comprised of five parts, here bound in four volumes, are Kelil Teferet (Minhah Erev Yom Kippur), Ma’ariv Ma’arivim (evening services), Tefilat Shahar (morning services), and Avodat Kodesh (Musaf, Minhah, Neilah, and Ma’ariv at the conclusion of Yom Kippur). There are title pages for each volume and the fourth volume has two title pages, for Musaf and for Minhah, Neilah, and Ma’ariv. The text of the title pages varies according to the contents. All the title pages are dated “and that you may be a holy people ולהיתך עם (581=1821).” The text of the mahzorim are set in a relatively large square vocalized Hebrew. (Deuteronomy 26:19). |
