Description		    Broadsheet, 310:230 mm., creased and split on folds, tear affecting letters. No record of this brodsheet or the author was found.
          
Detailed
Description		    Small broadsheet piyyut (liturgical prayer). The header states that it is a piyyut so that the virtue (merit) of the righteous should be a “shield and buckler” (Jeremiah 46:3, Psalms 35:2) for us. The text is comprised of two piyyutim and a prayer. The first piyuyut has fourteen lines, the second twelve lines. Excepting initial lines, each verse mentions the name of a righteous sage and for later rabbis adds his location. The third part has the header and charity will deliver from death; giving unbeknownst will repress anger and your reward will be doubled from heaven. It is signed this minhah (offering) is from me, the youth, Abraham Avtan àáèàï.
