Description		    1. Responsa by R. Hayyim Ephraim Baloity to R. Zvi Friedman, question appears on inital 2 pp by R. Friedman, the respons by R. Baloity on final p. not signed.

2. Draft copy of two responsa by R. Baloity (by his hand) one is signed - the Author apparently reworte the text for the actual response.

R. Hayyim Ephraim Baloity (b. 1877) was a student of the Shevet Sofer, many of his responsa were printed in the rabbinical journals Tel Talpiot and ve-Yelaket Joseph. The rabbi's opinion was sought after and followed by the Hungarian rabbinate. His son-in-law was R. Israel Weltz the chief judge of Budapest and later Jerusalem.
