Description		    Concerning the granting of a divorce decree.

R. Menahem Mendel Sack (1871-1943) was chief rabbi of Riga and head of the yeshivah in Riga, he was also active in the general communal affairs of Latvian Jewry. R. Sack was an erudite rabbinical scholar of repute, he served in several smaller communities before settling in Riga. He perished in the Holocaust.
