R. Moses Jekuthiel b. Avigdor Kaufmann Kohen (c.1661-1722), was an erudite halakhic scholar and the author of several important works. He was born at Krotoschin about the middle of the seventeenth century. He was a son-in-law of R. Abraham Abele Gombiner, and was rabbi at Kutno, Poland. He wrote "Hukkat Torah," or "Yismah Yisrael," annotations to Shulhan Arukh and to later halakhic works, in four parts, published between 1693 and 1701 at various places. Several of his works remain in manuscript.
