A New Year's greeting to the Chief Rabbi R. Meir Hai Uziel.
R. Elijah Aaron b. Mordecai Uriah Mileikowsky (1864-1947) was born in Jelgava, Latvia. A prominent scholar, he served as Chief Rabbi of Grajevo and published two multi-volume works of responsa and homiletics. He emigrated to Erez Israel in 1928 and settled in Tel Aviv. |
