Description		    First edition with Yiddish translation. [4], 122 ff., 237:175 mm., nice margins, usual age and damp staining. A very good copy bound in contemporary half leather boards, split and rubbed. Only part printed. The front end paper has owners' signatures. The first from a Hymans Reneulch and a London address, the second is to a Mr. Whycer trom Harry Rosenthal, dated August 8th, 1932.

Description		    Mishanyot Seder Zera'im with the commentaries of R Obadiah ben Abraham Yare of Bertinoro (c. 1450-c.1516) and R. Yom Tov Lipmann Heller (Ikar Tosefot Yom Tov) and an accompanying translation into Yiddish. The volume has two title pages; the first with a decorative border and a statement as to the contents, dated, "for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord (621=1861) כי זרע ברוכי ... ה' המה" (Isaiah 65:23). The second title page adds that there they have many valuable additions have been added, among them the glosses of R. Elijah of Vilna (the Vilna Gaon) and an alphabetical listing of the relevant chapters in the Talmud. There are approbations trom contemporary rabbis, among them R. Israel [ben Gedaliah] Lipschutz, Av Bet Din Danzig and author of Tiferet Yisrael. There is an introduction in Yiddish and prefaces from the Tosefot Yom Tov and the blessings to be said prior to learning Torah. The text is comprised of the Mishnayot in square vocalized Hebrew in the center of the page with the commentary of the Bertinoro along the inner margin, Ikar Tosefot Yom Tov along the outer margin, both in rabbinic letters and, in the Bertinoro, square unvocalized letters for the Mishnaic text. At the bottom of the page is the Yiddish commentary. At the end of the volume is a prayer for the deceased, the alphabetical listing noted on the title page. There is also some brief text and a chart omitted from Ikar Tosefot Yom Tov on Demai.

בפרט יש לחביא בחשבון את שם ההויה במלואו. שני שערים. עם "תורף ההקדמה" לבעל עיקר חוי"ט ו"תפלה על הנפטר" ובתוספת פרק אנדרוגינוס ופירושו, מדפוס הוראדנא וווילנא הקע"ח... לא יצא יותר.
