Description
   Novellae on the Talmudic tractates Shevu'ot, Avodah Zarah, and Horayot.

R. Samuel De Avila (d. after 1810) was the son of R. Solomon, talmudist and dayyan in Rabat, who was also the banker and adviser of the sultan Muhammad ben Abdullah. Under the reign of Moulay Yazid, R. Solomon was cruelly persecuted. R. Samuel, an erudite Talmudic scholar, was judge in Sale and Rabat.
