Commentary on the words that are read and not written and written and not read in the book of Psalms according to the sayings of the rabbis in the Babylonian and Jerusalem Talmuds and the Holy Zohar by R. Hayyim Judah Reich, av bet din in באניהאד. There is approbation from R. Eleizer Pirsht av bet din דיונדיש, errata, a table of contents, really an index, of verses quoted (v-xii), and the author’s introduction (1-8). The text is in two columns in rabbinic type excepting headings and initial words. There are penciled owners’ signatures on the title and approbation pages. Within the text selected chapters of Psalms are discussed in detail for their variant readings.
The phrase read and not written and written and not read, and the related discussion is to from Nedarim (37b), although the concept is also addressed in the Talmud. |
