Responsa by R. Zevi Hirsch b. Jacob Kara (1740-1814). R. Kara was an erudite scholar, recipient of question from all over the globe. The approbations speak with the highest terms of respect for his scholarship and rabbinical authority. He was especially sought after in problems of Agunot (abandoned wives), several responsa are included in this work. |
